The adjustable drag features almost zero start up inertia and is maintenance free. Quick change design for convenient spool changes. Convertible LHW or RHW, currently set up for LHW. For sale here we have a vintage Hardy Perfect 3 5/8" fly reel

This rod came to be known as Young's 9 1/2 foot "Florida Special" model

Cloth rod bag and aluminum painted tube with a gold anodised aluminum top

however the spool has some specks in the anodizing (came from the factory like this)

All sections are full-length and straight

Age has produced a lovely patina on the wood

just as they originally left the shop

95%+ of the leaded finish intact as well as most of the original lacquer that coated the leaded finish

The fighting butt is in excellent+ condition
