R.L. Winston Bamboo Rod SF Era 8'9" 2/1 #6For sale here is a San Francisco era Winston 8'9" 6wt 2 2 bamboo rod. Serial no. 9353 9343 made by Doug Merrick. Listed weight of 4 3 4 oz. The rod is in excellent overall condition. Both sections are full length though the tip has a very slight set. All of the wraps and other components are completely original having only received a light varnish overcoat. The serial numbers on the two sections do not match as they are off by ten. It could have been
and I suspect that it has only been lawn cast

one tip has a clear wrap on a cracked node between the bottom two guides
