Hard rubber side plates, half crank style handle and nickel silver incised rims (on both rings!) Artfully bolstered pillars, knurled bearing cap, and knurled handle arm screw. The JVH stamp is fairly clear on the headplate. Condition is excellent, with blemish free and unpolished hard rubber, strong constant click and full length,

Knurled tensioner works well as intended but it will let you unscrew it entirely

There is also a minor ding in the varnish on the butt section between the last two guides that received a protective varnish overcoat

The hang tag remains intact and clearly legible

very clean with no wobble to speak of and a nice tight check

We choose not to assemble to preserve the condition
