Paul Young Encampment Special Bamboo Rod 8' 2/2 #7For sale here is a very scarce Paul H. Young "Encampment Special", also known as the "Boat Rod". Eight feet with two sections and two tips. Serial #3727 delivered in August of 1958. Less than 50 of this model were made by the Paul Young Rod Company, and of that number only approximately 25 were made by Paul himself. Some say this model was designed for fishing the AuSable River "hex" hatch from a boat. This rendition, the "Encampment Special", was
