Hardy St. George Jr. Fly ReelFor sale here is a leaded, three screw latch, Hardy St. George Jr. fly reel in excellent condition. Mid to late 1940s reel straight line writing. Thomas Appleby maker. The outer plating on the line guide (monel, nickel?) shows wear but this is only cosmetic in nature. Original and full length ribbed alloy foot. A great little example of the very popular Junior for a three weight line.

with an insert in the front that was only included in this limited edition

The rod is in near mint condition with minor evidence of having been lawn cast

Includes the original bag and leather tube which also remains in like new condition

I can't think of anyone who has so consistently tied what amount to exact replicas of the master pattern

I suspect that this makes this rod one of a kind as I don't know of any others that have received similar treatment
