Beaune Les Avaux Louis Jadot Vintage 2015Louis Jabot is one of Burgundy's most important negotiants in both quality and quantity. Found in 1859 in Beaune. Les Avaux is a premier cru vineyard producing medium to full bodied wines with spicy flavors and good tannic structure. The 2015 vintage was a great success for the region. Typical blend Pinot Noir. 75cl bottle. Abv 13% Bottle condition capsule good, label good, wine level in neck. Tasting Note Ripe raspberry, blackcurrant and blueberry on
blackcurrant acid (not as much as the 76’) with dusty but quite seamless tannins
some nice cigar box
Although neither 1967 or 1969 bordellos were supposed to be all that splendid
1990 was an outstanding vintage for the wines of Bordeaux
Dolceto grapes are traditionally grown on plots were Nebbiolo struggles to ripen
The nose is pronounced and immediately expressive
