Chateau Poujeaux Vintage 2010Chteau Poujeaux is a well regarded former Cru Bourgeois wine estate located in the Moulis en Medoc sub appellation of the Haut Mdoc wine region, just north of Bordeaux city, on the so called "left bank" of the Gironde estuary. In 2010, a heavily revised Cru Bourgeois label was re introduced that did not establish a tiered system and, as a result, Chteau Poujeaux and five other houses that had been named Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel formed their own

The other wine was a 1997 Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste Pauillac

The 1962 vintage was a lovely one for the wines of Bordeaux

but this is seldom used

stamped by the estate and a back official back label

It is also one of the longest continually running wine estate having made communion wine during prohibition

and it has taken longer to evolve than many of its peers

and winery construction begun
