Former Chief Winemakers Myron Nightingale and Ed Sbragia created the Private Reserve program in 1977 with the goal of crafting Napa's finest Cabernet Sauvignon. It is also one of the longest continually running wine estate having made communion wine during prohibition, whilst other wineries had closed. 1987 was a very good vintage for California Typical blend Cabernet Sauvignon. 75cl
