Château Poujeaux is a well-regarded former Cru Bourgeois wine estate located in the Moulis en Medoc sub-appellation of the Haut-Médoc wine region

although the wines had a hard edge compared to the other great vintages of the 1950's

It benefitted from time in the glass/decanter

sweet decay and spicy ginger

but enough for some structure
