Chateau Monbrison Vintage 1988The first vineyards at the estate were planted in the 17th Century when the land was still part of the neighboring Mdoc estate, Chateau d'Arsac. In 1749 the estate became independent, trading hands from the influential Sgur family to the Copmartin family. Today the estate is owned by descendants of the Davis family who have continued to manage and modernize the chteau since 1921. The first of three great vintages from1988 1990. Typical blend, Cabernet
