Domaine De Chevalier Vintage 2010The Domaine de Chevalier located in Lognan, the Capital town of the Graves Region has a long history. It appears on the famous map of Pierre de Belleyme in 1783. In 1983 the estate was purchased by the Bernard Family. It has been run ever since by Olivier Bernard who has a constant drive for perfection which have been the hallmark of this outstanding wine. Quite a grown up LBV
It has been good during all phases of its life
sadly the last of my bottles and undoubtedly the best - peppery fruit with the tannins fully resolved - excellent
This blend is one of the more accessible wines

One of the largest estates to still be in the same ownership as it was five centuries ago
Regardless this was lovely and was drinking just a little younger than expected
Third poor vintage in a row for Bordeaux
equally respected
the wine was on the finesse
The harvested fruit were high in sugars with good ripeness and acidity
