pan with hingeThe pan is hand forged from steel. It has two grips through which a hinge can be fitted. The pan is blackened and oiled with forging soot. It is advisable to remove the oil with hot water or steel wool before use, or to cook the oil off on a campfire. The pan is constructed from 16 mm thick steel. It has a diameter of 23 cm, a height of 12 cm and a volume of 2. 5 to 3 litres. It weighs 1. 7 kg.
