1916 C.F. Martin Bowl Back Mandolin in Mint Condition GS00713This is an original 1916 C. F. Martin Bowl Back Mandolin. It has all of it's original parts and is plays beautifully. Makers mark with location (Nazareth, Pennsylvania) is stamped on a chrome plate at the very top back. The neck is made from Mahogany and the lower section has been pieced together with Adirondack Spruce, Maple and Rosewood.
