Steve Harley + Cockney Rebel - THE BEST OF STEVE HARLEY AND COCKNEY REBELI'm not great at what I call 'Top 20 stuff (and nonsense)', particularly these days (well since about 1969 really); but there are a few exceptions and the late Steve Harley is one of them. To my mind he towered above most of his contempories in the traditional 'Pop Rock' scene; this album has all (most) of the Cockney Rebel hits but (again IMHO) not the best of by any means.
Album title says it all
'Razor Face'
before realising the clue was in the 'and'
'I'm till Standing'
it is still a very good album
Usually classified as 'Pop' and 'Easy listening'

A top 5 band for me (along with the other 20)
this is the first of 2 comeback albums he recorded with Bruce Springsteen
Again not bad but nowhere near their best (IMOO)
worth it for that alone
