Elegant and attractively perfumed aromas speak of red cherry

A positively kaleidoscopic nose features restrained Vosne-style spice and a beautiful range of floral elements on the black fruit

The succulent and impressively concentrated flavors are almost viscous as well as highly seductive

although it is a more forceful

espresso and grilled herbs flesh out on the huge finish

gloriously fruity

this is pretty and perfectly nice but it's not a great Musigny

particularly given that a '76 Giroud Suchots tasted side by side (see herein) was substantially better

sexy and still balanced

This trades a bit of elegance in favor of more aromatic complexity on the cool and pure mix of red currant

Aromatically this is compositionally similar to the regular cuvée except that the fruit is slightly denser and there is notably better complexity
