Goblet

GobletThe top is made of translucent porcelain with a celadon glaze. It has been fired in a wood soda kiln to 1300c. It was cradled in fresh water clam shells creating a "made made fossil" marking. The base is brushed silver plated brass. Each piece is unique; a reflection of our approach to the work and firing processes. Size: 8cm dia. x 16cm Volume: 200ml Hand wash only. (The stem to top connection is very strong, but still do not forcibly twist apart.)

The shell markings on the foot are from freshwater clam shells reacting with the surface creating a 'man-made fossil' imprint

The handle is iron stone tied with copper wire

The wick (included) is made from fibreglass and will not wear out

Each piece is unique

This piece was inspired by the spoon collection Enzien inherited from her mom
