Poppy Flowers Skirt -1The skirts are designed in one size, comfortably fitting up to a UK size 18. The hemline is finished with a wide folded border, giving it a gentle weight so it falls beautifully. They feature a soft elasticated waistband with delicate gathers, along with an adjustable drawstring for the perfect fit. And of course, practical angled pockets on both sides, because we all love pockets! length of the skirt is approximately 90cm

As a summer over shirt too

This dressing gown is made on a sturdy soft Indian cotton fabric using natural dyes only

This project also gives me the opportunity to collaborate with a group of skilled women embroiders in rural West Bengal

Wash with similar colours

These one of a kind pieces are made using many layers of fabrics held together by hand embroidery called Kantha stitch

After this we have block printed it with mud resist and dyed it in natural indigo resulting in this deep rich blue

Squeeze the excess water

giving it an effortless lightness

The colour can rub off when you first wear it so please take care and don’t wear it with light coloured clothes till after first couple of washes or you may prewash it
