Eight-sided rear cork check which matches the eight-sided rod tube
The rod is in near mint+ condition having just been lawn cast
rather than one to one contact
The rod is built with Hollow-T construction
This reel carries the 1902 patent "Edward Vom Hofe Maker -N
since 1869"
Nickel reel seat in a matte black color with a green carbon fiber spacer and a 2 1/2" cork fighting butt
The spliced ferrules remain free of any defect and include black witness marks and splice protectors
