As an artist Ive always gotten a sort of therapy and contemplation while working on my art. The loose nature and absence of patterns made this piece no exception. It might appear I was trying to release some aggression but it actually was a very relaxing and therapeutic experience. All wood prints are printed on birch finishing

I wanted to draw a detailed sugar skull and decided I wanted a sort of sun burst background but I wanted it to have a pattern texture to it

I had this idea while I was working on my sugar skull drawing

I can't guarantee the same frame because I get all my frame from thrift stores

I think it gives it an appropriately frenetic feel

And skulls of course

I used what my daughter calls scribble scrabble for the texture of the Rhino

It has LED lights added to it for back lighting
