Goblet

GobletThe top is made of translucent porcelain with a celadon glaze. It has been fired in a wood soda kiln to 1300c. It was cradled in fresh water clam shells creating a "made made fossil" marking. The base is brushed silver plated brass. Each piece is unique; a reflection of our approach to the work and firing processes. Size: 8cm dia. x 16cm Volume: 200ml Hand wash only. (The stem to top connection is very strong, but still do not forcibly twist apart.)

This Teapot is made from a white stoneware with crackle slip

This Lidded Mug is made from a white stoneware clay with slip decoration

lid is not dishwasher safe and not microwavable

The shell markings on the foot are from freshwater clam shells reacting with the surface creating a 'man-made fossil' imprint
