PLAISIR de SiauracThis cuvee is light for a Lalande but deliberately so. Young Merlot vines are allowed less skin contact, resulting in a fine, fruity red with real pedigree and flair. Lalande de Pomerol sits somewhere between Pomerol and Saint Emilion within the Bordeaux Appellation, and is in reality a small village making fine reds that don't break the bank. This cracking estate is one of the largest and best, and is consistently good from one vintage to the next.
Tasting Note: Firm tannins and notes of spices and smoke that lead to plums

mocha and menthol are accentuated by hints of lavender
and Borderies regions
with aromatics of blackberry
mainly vinified from merlot grapes
