Macodes Petola | Jewel Orchid | 6cm potMacodes, most commonly known as Jewel Orchid. Velvety, light and dark green leaves with pinstripes. Part of the dawsoniana variety. The flowers appear in summer which are tall cream flowers. Light: Bright indirect light all year round, can grow under fluorescent lights. Avoid direct light due to the colour of the leaves fading. Water: Requires constant moisture around their roots, but do not keep potting mixture saturated because roots can rot. Water
will develop a patina with age
