repaired this tip and installed a protective wrap stretching from guide wrap to tip top wrap
The Davy Reel's diameter is 3 1/2" and the width between the drum plates measures a paltry 17/32"

The rod is marked as a 7-weight though with most Orvis rods a line size down is best
with a more medium action as compared to the slightly heavier Model 101 which was a faster action rod
The cork is lightly soiling and while there are a few indentations in the cork from a reel foot it is in excellent condition
