This reel carries the 1902 patent "Edward Vom Hofe Maker N. Y. " marked drag knob cover, and has a strong click and fully functional adjustable drag with bright red indicator dots. E197 serial number on the foot made in 1938. Full length and unaltered foot. Crack free side plates. The drag is smooth and strong. A wonderful example for the EVH fisherman
