This shirt is inspired by a scrap of printed fabric from the 1930s
as well as hand embroidery on the back
We have replicated the original fabric
with its black-and-white embroidered roses and stripes of satin ribbon
The fabric was woven in a mill in the United Kingdom which has been in operation for over one hundred and fifty years
which is finished with blanket stitching around the edges
The quilt was gifted to Emily by a longtime friend and mentor in New England
