This new addition to our intake isolates the intake path from the engine bay and avoids heat soak when at low speeds or stationary. The sealed carbon duct closes the front of the filter housing and stops heat from entering the filter area while still allowing some air entry from the cold side of the engine bay where the hood meets the wing, which ensures
