1992 Yamaha 821DMR HSH Superstrat (Violet Burst)Made in Taiwan for only a few years in the early 90's, the 821DMR was a reasonably high end shredder made by Yamaha to compete with the Ibanez RG series. Alder body with a sycamore top and back bolted to a maple neck and a 24 fret maple fingerboard (13. 75" radius, 648mm scale length, five scalloped frets), weighs 3. 3kg's.
