1987 Fender Japan E Series SF-455 Contemporary Stratocaster w/Kahler (White)Part of the famous "E Series" of guitars made in the mid 1980's, the SF 455 was part of the Contemporary Boxer series of "modern" Stratocaster designs built mainly for heavier 80's genres. Aged white finish on an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length, 22 frets), it weighs just under 4kg's. Loaded with the factory fitted Kahler USA tremolo system and a pair of Fender Dragster pickups controlled by master volume tone

Frets have plenty of life and were polished (along with a fretboard oil) prior to listing

smooth and shiny with slight wear

4-bolt neck plate and black pickguard

we added a new output jack plate and converted it back to a standard output jack

tone and balancer knobs

the Fender TN-90SPL was a very classy Japanese thinline Telecaster

Compact body with a squared maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length)

Japanese 100-120v socket

Neck is straight with a fully functional truss and shiny frets

independent volume/tone knobs (plus a master volume) and a coil split mini toggle

Around 3000 of these were made in Texas by Bob Murrell and MCI music from the 60's to the 80's using Japanese import bodies (like this Ventura V-1400) and filling them with their Guitorgan electronics

The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss
