Chateau Giscours Vintage 1959One of the largest vineyards on the left bank. Awarded 3rd growth in the 1855 classification. At the time 1959 was heralded as the vintage of the century by the press. It certainly was the best post war vintage. A classic and long lived. Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. 75cl Bottle. Abv % not stated. Bottle condition, capsule good, labels bin soiled and loose, wine level top shoulder.
