BC Rich ASM Assassin Electric Guitar (Red Flame Top)The Assassin was introduced in 1986 and was a more traditional shape than most of the other BC Rich models. Basswood body with a slim maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3. 5kg's. 24 frets, 648mm scale length, loaded with the original humbuckers and dual locking tremolo system. Made by Tokai's Chinese factory in 2013

Ash body with a transparent purple finish

With independent width and speed controls for each circuit

Made under the Matsumoto Musical Instrument Manufacturers' Association in the 1970's

Loaded with a Bare Knuckle pickup in the bridge and a Suhr humbucker in the neck position

Looks like it had a different tailpiece on there at some point as there's two plugged holes

The 21 fret nato neck with rosewood fingerboard was an absolute pleasure to play and the neck size was very similar to that of an electric guitar

This one has been modified professionally over the years and now features a very clean scallopped fretboard and an EVH D-Tuna

These were built with an a sandwich body (walnut top and back with a mahogany middle and two maple sections in between)
