2004 Fender Japan '62 Reissue Stratocaster w/Custom Shop Pickups (Relic 'burst)Japanese made in 2004, this is a heavily modified '62 reissue Stratocaster with a heck of a lot of character. Alder body with a maple neck and 21 fret rosewood fingerboard, weighs 3. 7kg's. The body has been professionally relic'd then buffed polished so it's smooth to touch rather than the jagged feeling that some amateur relics can be left with. Loaded with a set of aftermarket Fender Custom Shop USA pickups along with an upgraded tremolo system,

given a basic setup and service prior to listing

Hard to find much information on these other than they appear mostly in the Japanese market and tend to have some pretty unique designs

mahogany sides with a mahogany set-neck construction and a bound rosewood fingerboard

Flamed maple top with aged brown binding

frets are smooth and have plenty of life

Appears to be all original except for the replaced output jack plate and one saddle

The Balance knob controls the ratio of effected and dry signal

Looks to be all original with the exception of a new switch and output jack along with possibly the strap buttons
