1990's Fender Japan PB-STD Standard Precision Bass (Capri Orange)

1990's Fender Japan PB-STD Standard Precision Bass (Capri Orange)Made in Japan in the late 1990's to early 2000's, the PB STD model was Fender Japan's version of the American Standard series. Basswood body with a seldom seen Capri Orange finish, maple neck (43mm nut width) with a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3. 6kg's. Seems to be all original with full sized tuners and a Fender Japan P bass pickup controlled by volume and tone knobs. Good used condition as pictured with some finish wear and tear from

Before arriving with us this one had undergone a relic job to the body along with a refinish and relic to the neck (serial number/"Made in Japan" insignia missing but the neck stamps on the body and neck match and are both labelled ST54-95LS)

Cosmetically this one's in reasonably good condition with a few bumps and dings

Has a small screw-hole crack in the headstock that has been glued

it's loaded with Levinson MDN passive single coil pickups wired in a HSS configuration controlled by master volume and tone knobs

This one has some modern tuners installed otherwise it appears to be close to all original

Frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left

Made in Japan by Yamaha in the mid 1990's

original Fender style reverse machine heads and JB-Vintage single coil pickups work as they should

there's a lot to love about these

pickguard and possibly the pickups

Truss works as it should and the frets have live left with light pitting/play wear
