1973 Ibanez Japan 2356 Barney Kessel Hollowbody (Cherry Sunburst)Although many Japanese guitars claim to be "Ibanez", unless it's wearing that glorious word on the headstock it's just not the same! Made in the early 1970's, these Barney Kessel models were produced in very low numbers and mostly made to order. Arched top fully hollow construction with binding on the top and back, it's wearing a bright Cherry Sunburst finish all over and weighs 2. 7kg's. Frets are used but have life and play well

It's now loaded with an unbranded cloth-wire pickup (seems to be high quality) and full sized pots along with an orange drop tone capacitor
