1982 Fernandes Japan RMT-50 Mustang (Vintage White)

1982 Fernandes Japan RMT-50 Mustang (Vintage White)Made in Japan in 1982 (dated by the serial number on the neck heel), this was likely a store order RMT 50 that was purchased from Fernandes with what looks to be a factory fitted locking nut and no logo on the headstock. With an aged white finish on a compact solid body bolted to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (610mm scale length), it weighs 3. 3kg's. Looks to be all original with Fernandes single coil pickups and traditional Mustang

While this shares a lot of visual similarities with a Studio

Has three cosmetic bumps on the top contour as pictured

the neck is straight with an adjustable truss and the electronics work as they should

Loaded with the original Ibanez low-impedance pickups (a Lo-Z-P at the front and a Lo-Z-J at the bridge) along with an Omni-adjust bridge

YSEH1 humbuckers (made by EMG) with master volume/tone knobs and a coil split push pull and Yamaha branded tuners

Previous owner sanded off the paint on the back and there's a small paint crack near the volume knob
