1983 Yamaha Japan SL550S Studio Lord Les Paul Standard (Brown Oil Stain)Made in Japan in 1983, the SL550S was one of Yamaha's revised Studio Lord models. Wearing the seldom seen "Oil Stain" finish, it features an agathis body with a maple top, set mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard and weighs 3. 9kg's. Loaded with Yamaha L3 humbuckers (Dimarzio Super Distortion style pickups) and vintage style tuners, this one seems all original and is nice and tidy with shiny hardware and no major cosmetic blemishes.
