This SG 1000 was a mid range model in the 1979 catalog and is a step up from the entry level models in specs. Weighing in at just over 4kg's, it's built with a mahogany body with a 2 piece maple cap, slim 60's maple mahogany set neck and an ebony fretboard (12" radius, 628mm scale length, 43mm nut width).
