1985 Ibanez Japan RS520 Roadstar II Vintage Electric Guitar (Black)The Ibanez RS520 Roadstar II was made in Japan in 1985 and features an arched basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard. Loaded with a pair of Ibanez IBZ humbuckers with Duo Sound coil split functionality and a Pro Rock'r double locking tremolo bridge with a locking system after the nut, knurled Tek Grip control knobs and Smooth Tuner II tuning machines. it’s made with what looks to be a basswood body and a satin maple 22 fret neck

This one looks to have had two more inlays installed and removed at some point along with a re-fret as the frets are high with plenty of life left

Frets have some light pitting but play well and the neck is straight

One small aesthetic crack to the top is visible but it's purely in the finish with no structural damage or repairs

Previously removed from a Japanese made Fernandes Mockingbird

This chip was changed twice more before settling on the current circuit produced today
