1978 Greco Japan FV-600 '67 Reissue Flying V (Cherry Red)Made by the Fujigen factory in 1978, this is the Greco FV 600 '67 reissue Flying V. Mahogany body with a slim 60's profile mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, it weighs 3. 5kg's. Loaded with the original Maxon humbuckers along with the original bridge, tailpiece and Greco branded tuners, it's got a replacement tone pot and cap otherwise appears all original. Overall it's in pretty well used vintage condition with plenty

Currently strung with flatwounds strings

a Floyd Rose II locking tremolo system along with three original "Designed by Seymour Duncan" (missing cover on the bridge pickup)

this one weighs just over 4kg's

The neck was sanded back to a satin smooth finish that's far more comfortable than the removed glossy clear coat

A few of the higher frets have been partially scalloped and the back of the neck feels very played and worn

frets are shiny and have plenty of life

It was then re-fretted with brand new jumbo frets and set-up with a smooth low action

Thinner 60's style neck profile is a breeze to play

Seems to be a Korean made model from the early 2000's (serial on the back of the headstock)

A rock solid HiMass™ bridge provides sustain

The neck pickup seems original and the bridge pickup is a Dimarzio DP182 mini rail humbucker

The truss functions as it should and the neck is straight
