1994 Fender Japan ST57-65AS Limited Edition 40th Anniversary Stratocaster (Candy Apple Red)Made in Japan in 1994 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Stratocaster, the ST57 65AS is a celebratory '57 reissue in the classic Candy Apple Red finish. Alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (7. 25" radius), the neck has the iconic "FotoFlame" laminate finish. White pickguard with Fender Japan ST Vintage pickups. Weighs 3. 6kg's. The MS-700 was also factory loaded with a locking tremolo system that has been replaced on this one with a Takeuchi TRS-202 system

The packaging was opened by us to confirm the ohm reading otherwise it's never been removed from the plastic or installed on a bass

The top has some slight shrinking at the binding that has been drop filled with some glue to fill the gap a little

Poplar body bolted to a satin feel maple neck (10" radius

the neck is reasonably straight and the truss is responsive

Made in Japan Traditional Jazz Bass has a gloss finish basswood body

Frets have some light play wear but were polished prior to listing along truss adjustment

so we had it grain-filled and re-sprayed in a beautiful Royal Blue
