Cenyth Red 2016This wine produced by Helene Seillan had its first vintage in 2009. A Bordeaux blend, but leaning towards Saint Emilion it has more Cabernet Franc in the blend than most wines from Sonoma County. Typical blend, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon. Bottle condition, capsule excellent, label excellent, wine level in neck.
A good vintage if not quite as good as it's predecessor
Valtellina wines are made from at least 90% Chiavennaca
Chateau Lagrange had a mixed reputation during the 60s and 70s
John's son Doug Shafer took over the winemaking reins in 1983
By 1850 it was ranked by Cocks & Feret as the leading wine of Saint-Émilion
