Hallmarked Silver Nurses Buckle Stokes & Ireland Chester 1898This is an intricate silver Nurses' Buckle with a design of leaves and scrolls and children. This separates in the middle and hooks together at the back. This is a lovely shape with a boy built into the design on one side and a girl built into the design on the other. Both sides are hallmarked in the design on the front of the buckle with the left hand side being partial as the Chester mark is not present. A nice quality piece of silver in great

This card case is unusual in that it shows to very different designs on the same side

particularly when looking for that "impossible" present

There are import hallmarks on the side of the lid and the rim of the base

It does have some dents down the right hand side near the bottom - see close up picture

This may well clean but it is not damaged

This collectable silver item is in excellent condition showing no damage just very minor surface marks commensurate with age and light use

The decoration is crisp and undamaged

The hinge is in good order with no movement and works well
