1990's Gotoh (Tokai) Japan NOS Uncovered Chrome PAF Humbuckers (Mirror)Our friends at Tokai recently invited us to come over to Japan and dig through their NOS warehouse to handpick a mountain of parts to offer to the public, giving ya'll the incredibly rare opportunity to grab yourself some true "New Old Stock" products! These Gotoh branded humbuckers appear to be from the 1990s and were likely custom ordered by Tokai for a project limited run guitar as they're uncovered but have a mirror finish on the coils as

maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length)

comfort and access to higher frets

Loaded with a set of aftermarket Wilkinson Alnico humbuckers with the traditional layout of two volume knobs and a master tone control

Made by the Fujigen factory in 2017

Truss cover is missing

Alder body with a brown sunburst finish

has some very light wear and had a professional headstock repair and spot refinish as pictured (although it's been done so well that it's almost undetectable)

Ace Tone was founded in 1960 by the same man behind Roland Japan

Frets are well used but were polished and play well with some life left

received a full professional setup and service prior to listing including fretboard oil

75mm action at the 12th fret

The hardware is all shiny with very little patina and the finish on the neck and body is shiny and smooth
