Nikon 28-70mm f2.8 AF-S Nikkor D EDIt has some fungus inside that will affect image quality at wider focal lengths. The fungus has been UV treated to neutralize it and prevent its spread. The focus motor is noisy but works. The lens is otherwise in working condition.

It has quite a large crack near the rewind knob
Light rays which are reflected by any surface become polarised and polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camara lens
